Hike • Reception • Star Gazing

8 am

• Morning Hike

If you arrive early, join us for a beautiful hike in the Coachella National Preserve. We will meet in front of the main entrance to the hotel and caravan to the site. Hike duration depends on weather.

5 pm

• Casual Reception in the Masters Plaza

Check in, pick up your conference badge and enjoy hors d’oerves and music with the speakers and attendees.

8 pm

• Star Gazing with Dave Mathisen

Join us in the Coachella National Preserve to view the stars in the desert sky and hear and see their connection to the myths and sacred stories from around the world described by a long time star myth investigator and author on the subject, Dave Mathisen. We will meet in front of the main entrance to the hotel and caravan to the site.

*Breaks and Lunch will be an excellent time to meet and chat with the speakers and get a book signed. We will have a book room with books and dvds from the speakers open throughout the conference.

**There are wonderful dining options both at the Westin and throughout the Palm Desert Area. The Paseo in Palm Desert is home to numerous restaurants of varying cuisines and is only a 10-15min drive from the hotel.

The Westin also has many activities such as golf and tennis and a full service spa to enjoy during your stay. Please feel free to contact the concierge to arrange any activities during your stay.
